Our Story

Designed From Real Life With Dogs

Sweet Lemon Design began with one special dog named Lemon.

As a therapy dog, Lemon became part of everyday life — from going to work with her Mama at the bank, weekend farmers market trips to outdoor hiking adventures, working sessions at local schools, the library and assisted living home visits and all the meaningful moments in between. Finding gear that felt both beautiful and functional was harder than expected.

Most options felt overly bulky, too tactical, or lacked the thoughtful details we were looking for.

So we started researching and creating our own.

What began as a search for versatile, well-designed gear slowly became Sweet Lemon Design — a handcrafted collection of Biothane collars, leashes, and everyday essentials designed to blend durability, comfort, and intentional design.

Every piece is thoughtfully designed with real life in mind: muddy walks, puppy stages, training sessions, weekend adventures, therapy visits, and all the ordinary moments that become the most meaningful.

At Sweet Lemon Design, we believe dog gear should feel just as special as the dogs wearing it.

Thank you for being here and allowing us to create something meaningful for you and your furry best friend.

Meet Fig. Figgy Mae. Figgy Brown Bear.

A woman with shoulder-length light brown hair smiling and holding a chocolate Australian Labradoodle dog, sitting outdoors near a large tree during sunset with warm sunlight in the background.

Fig is an Australian Labradoodle with aspirations of becoming a therapy dog herself. At just 9 months old, she’s equal parts best friend to Lemon and sweet, mischievous teddy bear. Whether she’s testing new adventures, showing off color combinations, or keeping us on our toes, Fig brings joy, personality, and a little bit of playful chaos to Sweet Lemon Design.

Wilson, our Westie, inspired us to create a collection for dogs with sensitive skin because we believe every dog deserves thoughtfully designed gear. Created with comfort and everyday wear in mind, this collection proves that style and comfort can go paw in paw.
